Purrsday Favorite: "The Fiber of the Gods"

After purchasing this poncho at a local fall festival, I am all about Alpaca.
It is warm but lightweight and extremely comfy.

In South America, Alpaca fiber was used to make clothing for Royalty giving it the name "The Fiber of the Gods." There has become a higher demand for Alpaca fibers and its use in clothing and interior textiles is increasing. It has also become my favorite natural fiber, here's why:

It is a renewable resource
Alpaca yarn is hypo-allergenic, naturally
Naturally water repellent
Fire Retardant
Warmer than wool and lightweight

Western stripe alpaca poncho
Leather leggings
Riding boots
Alice- cat

_____________________________FOR THE HOME__________________________
Alpaca is a great eco-chic option as an interior textile.
Alpaca fibers do not require harsh chemicals to clean, do not wrinkle easily which makes a great way to incorporate a little green into your home!
With the rugs below there is not a compromise for luxury or comfort when choosing this sustainable fiber!

This plush high pile Alpaca rug adds luxury and comfort to any space, especially as a bathroom mat or in a bedroom. Just imagine stepping out of bed on this during the cold winter months!

This black and white geo flat weave is a great option for a hallway, kitchen, doorway, and it's reversible!

This round agate has a great natural element to it, and would be great in in living area, under an entry or kitchen table.

OBSESSED: Nail Polish

Another obsession: Nail Polish
This began around Middle School and has not stopped since!
I was that girl with every color from glow in the dark, the mood polish (so cool), glitter confetti...
you name it, I had it!
My favorite had to be the glow in the dark crescent moon confetti/glitter combination from Limited Too...I mean it doesn't get much cooler than that.
Needless to say I am loving the nail art trend, below are my metallic picks for fall.

1969 Reader's Digest Book

-------Essie Polish------

The lace is on
Aruba Blue
Nothing else metals

Essie is one of my favorite brands.
The colors hold up well, are always on trend, and not to mention the names...they get me every time!

It seems I never leave Target without at least one color in my cart!

Vintage Safari

FOUND --> vintage 1970s Embroidered jacket
Going through my grandmothers closet I found this Jacket and fell in love.
Turns out it was my Aunt Kaia's, who I happen to be named after, and it fits like a glove.
It's total fate. It needs to be worn, and by me.

There is something so great about wearing vintage especially from family.
It connects you to them in a weird way,
wearing the clothes they wore during the same time in life.
It makes you think about the good times the clothes have seen.

So we must let the good times roll
