Purrsday Favorite: "The Fiber of the Gods"

After purchasing this poncho at a local fall festival, I am all about Alpaca.
It is warm but lightweight and extremely comfy.

In South America, Alpaca fiber was used to make clothing for Royalty giving it the name "The Fiber of the Gods." There has become a higher demand for Alpaca fibers and its use in clothing and interior textiles is increasing. It has also become my favorite natural fiber, here's why:

It is a renewable resource
Alpaca yarn is hypo-allergenic, naturally
Naturally water repellent
Fire Retardant
Warmer than wool and lightweight

Alpaca is a great eco-chic option as an interior textile.
Alpaca fibers do not require harsh chemicals to clean, do not wrinkle easily which makes a great way to incorporate a little green into your home!
With the rugs below there is not a compromise for luxury or comfort when choosing this sustainable fiber!

This plush high pile Alpaca rug adds luxury and comfort to any space, especially as a bathroom mat or in a bedroom. Just imagine stepping out of bed on this during the cold winter months!

This black and white geo flat weave is a great option for a hallway, kitchen, doorway, and it's reversible!

This round agate has a great natural element to it, and would be great in in living area, under an entry or kitchen table.
